KYT D-City Plain, open face helmet

D-City, the new KYT urban full face helmet in thermoplastic with ADT-Advanced technology; its fascinating shapes have been deeply studied for daily use in the short and medium trips without neglecting the stylistic and ergonomic aspects.

The mechanisms of the visor and air intakes have been designed to give, at the same time, easy use and efficiency.

The high-quality removable interiors have been optimized to offer the best performance in terms of comfort and moisture flow inside the helmet.

The visor guarantees wide visibility and aerodynamic protection while the retractable sun visor is a comfortable and indispensable sun protection system that can be easily activated with a cable button, elegantly integrated into the shape of the shell.

Protective Polystyrene

The internal protective polystyrene is produced in two sizes (M and L) to offer correct comfort.

Polystyrene is made up of different parts with variable densities; this feature allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact.

Even if most of the impact power is absorbed by the outer shell, thanks to its ability to deform, the role of the polystyrene is fundamental in absorbing the residual energy.

The internal protective polystyrene has been designed to work in symbiosis with the air intakes of the shell. Particular grooves on the polystyrene allow a continuous flow of air, ensuring excellent ventilation inside the helmet and a rapid discharge of hot air.
