Cordura®

The brand name Cordura® refers to the fabric polyamide 6.6 — better known as nylon, which is enormously more resilient as a result of an adapted manufacturing process. Its coarsely textured surface has a pleasant feel, but is less easy to coat than other fabrics.

Its enormous abrasion resistance makes Cordura® in various thicknesses a popular material for heavy-duty textile products such as rucksacks, shoes, and motorbike clothing.
