The perforated fabric cools down a large proportion of your body whilst you're riding, and creates the ideal temperature conditions (especially when combined with cool underwear).

D3O

The D3O® protectors are made of smart shock-absorbent material containing molecules that flow freely under normal circumstances. The protectors are soft and flexible and give a perfect fit on the body.

The whole process happens in an instant, after which the protectors go back to their original form and can be used again without losing any of their properties. A secret agenda is definitely not the intention, although the undercover content is high.
