The Clip-in Technology

Wearing the same apparel on hot summer days as in the transition period with single-digit temperatures? No problem with the Held Clip-in technology. All Held jackets and trousers, which are equipped with the Clip-in feature, can be retrofitted and upgraded with Held Clip-in products.

On the specially coloured fixation loops, the Clip-in products are installed by press-studs into the outer shell.

With the blue coloured loops and press-studs, the system is easily distinguishable from other fastening systems of the base garment like connecting zips, air-vents and removable membranes and linings.

GORE-TEX

The GORE-TEX membrane has over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimetre. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. This makes the GORE-TEX membrane permanently waterproof/windproof and at the same time very breathable.

The result: no water can penetrate from the outside, wind is kept out and sweat can be easily released. To guarantee absolute weather resistance, GORE-TEX products are sealed with GORE-SEAM TAPE technologies. These tapes seal every hole, no matter how small, that is created when the membrane is sewn into garments. To meet the specific requirements of all areas of use, GORE-TEX has developed a wide variety of membranes and technologies, which are incorporated into the respective products depending on their properties.

Heros®-Tec fabric

Heros®-Tec fabric consists of 100% polyester and is a synthetic fibre made of linear macromolecules. Polyester is used to manufacture various types of end products. The basic properties of polyester are elasticity, low moisture absorption, but also tensile strength and dimensional stability.
