Bering Austral, textile jacket Gore-Tex

The Austral jacket is a pure adventure jacket developed in synergy with the other Silhouette equipment. It is a concentrate of technical features that will accompany you on all your outings: It offers comfort and protection in any situation.

What makes the Austral Gore-Tex jacket unique in the Bering range? It's original cut with the offset zipper and magnetic flap as well as the front pocket. The Austral Gore-Tex jacket is inspired by outdoor sports and impresses with its navy blue and grey color scheme with red accents, both on the road and on the trail.

The technical features are at the heart of the jacket design thanks to the innovative material: Gore-Tex laminate, a single-layer material treated to be waterproof and breathable without the need for an additional membrane. This technical jacket complies with the EN 17092 Level A standard and features Protect Flex technology with Alpha EN1621-1 Level 1 elbow protection and Alpha EN1621-1 Level 1 shoulder protection. A back protector can be attached via the back pocket. In addition to the certified protection, the jacket complies with the NF EN 17353 standard thanks to its retroreflective elements for improved visibility.

The Austral Gore-Tex jacket has a removable Shelltech Mega lining that can be used like a down jacket and, regardless of the jacket, meets all the needs of motorcyclists on their daily or occasional rides, whatever the intensity. The jacket's detachable hood is equipped with a Cohaesive closure system integrated into the hood rather than a traditional closure. Cohaesive technology makes it possible to open and close the hood at any time with just one hand: a function that optimizes the user's comfort in everyday life.

To increase the comfort and optimal adaptability of the AUSTRAL GORE-TEX jacket, the zippered collar and side zippers provide more freedom of movement when it counts, e.g. on off-road trails. The zippered cuffs and anti-friction tabs ensure that you can ride with complete freedom in all conditions.

REPREVE® - supplier of 100% recycled textile fibres

A brand recognized worldwide for its process aimed at transforming recycled plastic bottles into high-performance textile material: recycled polyester. Collaborating with REPREVE® constitutes an assurance of the origin of the material, thanks to an efficient system of traceability and transparency in the production chain.

SHELLTECH is the result of Bering's new classification for linings.

As soon as you hold the lining in your hand, you can visually distinguish the different thermal insulation.
