Technical details

The new RAZORBACK offers perfected geometry of movement that allows a better adaptation of the shoe to the movements of the ankle. The GAERNE DUAL STAGE PIVOT SYSTEM 1.0 protects the ankle with two end stops that limit hyper-extension, hyper-flexion and lateral movements. The MICROSHOCK heel pad has a rubber compound with different densities to provide a cushioning effect on micro impacts during cornering. Inside, the proven MEMORY-SCD-FOAM adapts perfectly to the foot for a completely secure ride, better than any construction with a separate inner shoe can ever offer.

The insides of the SG22 are equipped with GRIP GUARD 1.0 elements, whose composition was developed in collaboration with professional riders. This improves protection and optimizes the coefficient of friction for a better ride. The DUAL DENSITY LONGLIFE SOUL is equipped with double density inserts that provide optimal grip on the pedal and unprecedented durability, while the MICROSHOCK provides cushioning and traction while walking.

The new FRONTAL SHIN GUARD plate can be placed in two positions, allowing multiple configurations and works in conjunction with the upper closure buckle, facilitating the insertion of knee pads and allowing for larger calves. The new toe cap STEEL BUMPER 1.0 has a reduced thickness, which reduces weight without compromising optimal protection.

The ALUMINIUM SUPERLIGHT BUCKLES have a new painted finish with visible details. The upper buckle can be adjusted in three positions. The AIR VENTS facilitate the release of heat and moisture and work in synergy with the new inner lining. The new 3D MAIN BODY TOE BOX features a pre-shaped three-dimensional design with a single articulated element near the closure buckle on the outside. This configuration reduces the height between the sole and the gear guard, increasing the speed of gear changes.
