Momodesign Firegun-2 GTX, shoes Gore-Tex

Certified motorcycle shoe with impermeable and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane. Combines maximum protection with high comfort while riding and walking.

Firegun-2 Gore-Tex® is a waterproof MOMODESIGN® motorcycle shoe with Gore-tex® Extended Comfort membrane that combines protection on the bike and maximum comfort when walking - in any activity in everyday life and in any situation. Its upper is made of extremely abrasion-resistant technical fabric.

Maximum protection is guaranteed by the special Zplate® insert in molded polymer that, thanks to its Z-shape, combines transverse stiffness for maximum safety and longitudinal flexibility. Zplate® allows the shoe to follow all the natural movements of the foot both in the saddle and when walking. At the same time, the technology protects against compression of the shoe in the event of an impact.

The Firegun-2 Gore-Tex® features reinforcements on the ankle, toe and heel, as well as a strap protector made of thermoplastic polyurethane.

Maximum comfort while driving and walking is provided by the breathable OrthoLite® insole and EVA midsole. The sole is a Groundtrax® sole made of abrasion-resistant rubber, which provides high stability and grip on all types of surfaces. The outer gaiter is made of stretch fabric, the closure is made by laces.

Gore-Tex® Membrane

Dieses feine Material weist wichtige Merkmale auf, wie z. B. eine langfristige Wasserdichtigkeit, eine hervorragende Beständigkeit gegen extremste Temperaturen und eine hohe Verschleißfestigkeit.

Diese Poren sind ungefähr 20.000 Mal kleiner als ein Wassertropfen, aber 700 Mal größer als ein Molekül Wasserdampf.

Während Wasser nicht in flüssiger Form in die GORE-TEX Membran eindringen kann, kann Schweiß (Wasserdampf) leicht verdampfen. Das Ergebnis ist eine vollständig wasserdichte Barriere, die bedeutet, dass der Schuh in allen Klimazonen verwendet werden kann und maximalen Komfort und optimale Atmungsaktivität garantiert.

Die spezielle mikroporöse Struktur des GORE-TEX-Gewebes aus expandiertem PTFE enthält rund 1,4 Milliarden mikroskopische Poren pro Quadratzentimeter. 

Ortholite® footbed

Experience the comfort of OrthoLite® PU foam footbeds.

Long-term cushioning: OrthoLite® foam compresses less than 5% of its thickness throughout the life of the footbed, so cushioning, fit, comfort and performance never change.

High Breathability: The open cells of OrthoLite® foam allow air to circulate in and around the footbed, wicking away moisture and keeping the foot cooler and drier.

Groundtrax® outsole

Groundtrax® outsoles are designed to provide stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and after dismounting. This is due to the design of the lugs and grooves and the choice of rubber compound, which also maximize the tread's abrasion resistance and self-cleaning properties. The sole has a special switching area to ensure greater precision during the ride.

ZPLATE®

Stable laterally, flexible frontally. The ZPLATE insert in the midsole maintains the proper flexibility of the shoe for optimal driving and walking comfort, while ensuring lateral rigidity to protect the foot should it be crushed under the vehicle.
