Highsider CBW1, CAN-BUS resistor

HIGHSIDER CAN-BUS resistor CBW1 with DIP switch.

The newly developed HIGHSIDER CAN-BUS resistor CBW1 fits most vehicles that have a CAN-BUS system.

The resistor CBW1 provides a required electrical load for their vehicle, which leads to no error message in the cockpit with accessory turn signals when the dip switches are set correctly.

In addition, there is a fail-safe feature. That is: In the event of failure of the accessory turn signals due to an electronic defect, an error message is immediately displayed in the cockpit.

Note

• Up to 2 channels can be operated, such as rear left turn signal and rear right turn signal.
• If 2 pairs of turn signals(VL,VR,HL,HR)are replaced, 2 x CBW1 are required

What are the requirements to use CBW1 on the vehicle:

• Either: LED turn signals were installed on the vehicle as original.
• Or: The vehicle has a CAN-BUS system.

If none of the requirements are met, the CBW1 can therefore not be installed (!), then the following resistors are recommended for the vehicle:

• For turn signals with 21 Watt 6,8 Ohm part number 207-025 or 10 Ohm part number 207-028
• For turn signals with 10 Watt 27 Ohm part number 207-020
