Tecmate OptiMate SAE/SAE-Buchse, panel mount socket

OptiMate Cable O-40.

M18 SAE flush mount socket to be installed in the instrument panel, with cable terminating in a SAE plug. The 18 A / 0.82 mm² cable is rated down to -40 °C, so it is ideal for permanent installation on a vehicle that will be used in cold weather.

The socket can be used as a replacement for the more expensive DIN socket and plug system ("Hella"), which is common on BMW, Triumph, Victory and now on some Ducati motorcycles.

Connection to the battery requires a battery cable that terminates in an SAE connector, such as the weatherproof OptiMate O-01 battery cable.
