Safety Seam

We use the Safety-Seam in all safety-critical areas, such as pelvis, knees, arms and back. It is particularly important for fabric reinforcement.

1. The simple seam
Normal seams join the outer layers of a garment with just one thread. In an accident, the thread is abraded, and the two fabric layers separate. All protection is lost.

2. The additional Safety-Seam
This consists of two seams, one of which is covered by folded material.
In case of a fall, only one of the seams is affected. The covered
thread holds the fabric together.
