Crítica: Der Spitze! Excellent parka!
I am an experienced American mountaineer, residing in the Western USA. I frequently have need of a relatively lightweight but windproof and water resistant parka to take along with me on three-season outings (all but winter). I ordered this item in an XL size, feeling intuitively that it might be a slightly smaller-than-advertised fit, but I am also tall and thin (182 cm/72 kg) and I like to have some extra room in my outer garments so as to allow under-layering, as required. I received this anorak type jacket in the so-called \'urban\' or \'night camou\' coloration and was amazed by how perfect it is, whether for casual use in the city on unsettled weather days or in the mountains in Spring and Summer. It is wonderful wind protection in all cases and I have ordered several extras, give its super utility and top-quality fabrication. Brandt certainly scored a \'winner\' when they made this commercial copy of German Bundeswehr issue! The subdued gray Polyester material is perfect for those times when you do NOT want to stand out and prefer a lower profile than \'Mountain Rescue\' high-viz status! Assuming you order a size-up, you will NOT be disappointed. It is also light, easily carried and stowed when not required! Perfect for most high wind situations! It allows light cotton sweaters to be worn under it, as needed, without discomfort! I think you will approve!
